    JOB SUMMARY:

    The FireWolves are seeking an Account Executive, Ticket Sales, to join our PACK! This individual will be a full-time employee of the FireWolves. You will make outbound phone calls, set-up face-to-face meetings with prospects, and work tabling events throughout the community with the goal of selling FireWolves ticket packages. You will also work on all FireWolves home games and outside events as scheduled.

    PRIMARY & ESSENTIAL DUTIES:
    • Sell season tickets and partial plans with particular focus on group tickets sales
    • Responsible for generating ticket revenue through cold calls, face-to-face appointments, arena tours, prospecting, and networking.
    • Responsible for meeting a minimum number of phone call and touch point activities per day as determined by management
    • Research and prospect for new business leads
    • Renew season ticket accounts and group ticket purchases
    • Proactively create opportunities for new business with existing customers
    • Meet and exceed weekly, monthly, and yearly sales goals
    • Prospect and cultivate new sales leads through creative lead generation approaches
    • Create new business opportunities through up-selling & referrals from existing clients & prospects
    • Effectively follow up with prospects & clients to meet excellent customer service requirements
    • Cordially and effectively handle incoming calls from prospective clients for all ticket sales needs
    • Ensure customer data and profile information is accurate and detailed in CRM system
    • Attend & work community events, representing the team to network and build sales pipeline
    • Assist with game day responsibilities of the sales department
    • Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned
    MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
    • 1 + years of previous sales experience preferred
    • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college/university with coursework in business, sales, marketing, sport management or similar area
    • Strong outreach skills and tracking of prospective clients
    • Excellent relationship building and interpersonal skills
    • Ability to interact effectively and comfortably with clients at all levels of an organization
    • Ability to handle a high volume of calls
    • Excellent communication and presentation skills – written and oral

  • Director of Ticket Sales

    JOB SUMMARY:

    The FireWolves NLL are seeking an experienced seller within the sports industry to join our PACK as a Director of Ticket Sales.   This individual will be a full-time employee of the FireWolves NLL and have 3-5 years of selling experience, with a focus on all aspects of ticket sales.   You will help to create programs that drive ticket sales, ability to work within the ticketing system platform as well as FEVO and other ticketing platforms.  Have the ability to run detail data driven reports and as well as being the organizations top sales person.  This a full-time selling role and you are expected to make outbound phone calls, set-up face-to-face meetings with prospects, and work events throughout the community. You will also work on all FireWolves NLL  home games, outside events as needed as well as weekends, holidays and extended hours.

    PRIMARY & ESSENTIAL DUTIES:
    •  Develop and manage annual business plan to achieve results including revenue goals, pricing, product variety and other key areas of sales.
    •  Ensure the ticketing team meets and exceeds established revenue goals.
    • Design an engaging sales structure to help with development of sales staff thru training, leadership and providing necessary tools.
    •  Establish all systems, structures, and reports for the department, including various ticket sales reports (daily, weekly, season, per-game, etc.)
    •  Directly manage ticketing team by setting and reviewing performance objectives, touchpoint targets and revenue objectives, coaching, motivating, mentoring, and training.
    • Must be enthusiastic, creative, charismatic, accountable, integrity and able to think both strategically and tactically.
    • Manage departmental budget, forecasting, and resources.
    • Lead all ticketing operations, including ticket distribution, game day box office liaison, etc.
    • Continue to establish bench mark for ticket distribution through complimentary tickets, vouchers, etc. Plan and execute a strategy so not to take away from ticket sales.
    • Focus on selling season ticket packages, group tickets year-round

  • Director of Corporate Partnerships

     JOB SUMMARY:
    The FireWolves NLL is looking to hire a dynamic, outgoing, passionate Director of Corporate Partnerships.  You need to be able to promote the FireWolves NLL, create a dynamic network by prospecting, and sell partnerships to area business from start to finish of the process.  Have an outgoing personality, be able to work under deadlines, be creative in your various proposals and offer what is best for the company.  This candidate will be responsible for achieving specific budgetary goals each year.  This position will interact with various departments within the organization to ensure that contractual obligations are fulfilled, and business objectives are met for all clients.  This position reports directly to the Vice President of Marketing and Sales.
    QUALIFICATIONS:
    • Minimum of, or equivalent to a bachelor’s degree from a four-year college or university, a master’s degree is preferable.
    • Ideal candidate will have at least 3+ years of experience in corporate partnerships, business development, or related field.  Sports entertainment experience is preferred.
    • Excellent people skills, and an ability to interact effectively and in a professional, diplomatic, and mature manner with individuals at all levels of the organization.
    • Candidate must have problem solving skills as well as excellent communication and presentation skills, including being comfortable speaking in front of groups and company executives.
    • Ability to generate new and creative sales ideas.
    • Ability to be flexible in a fast-paced environment, while maintaining a positive attitude, creativity, integrity and accountability
    • Proficiency in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, Access and PowerPoint)
    • Ability to multi-task and prioritize.
    • Self-motivated and a strong desire to succeed.
    • Excellent written, verbal and interpersonal skills
    • Demonstrated customer service experience.
    • Knowledge of lacrosse is preferable.
    • Familiar with the Durham Area (Oshawa, ON) area preferable.
    •  Ability to interact and communicate with individuals at all levels of the organization.
    • Flexible work schedule and ability work non gameday events, nights, and weekends and holidays as required.
    RESPONSIBILITIES:
    • Lead Generation through maintaining a high volume of dynamic meetings and calls.
    • Prospect, research and close sponsorship contracts for the FireWolves NLL
    • Conduct exceptional client needs based analysis and develop custom programs to meet each client’s objectives and outcomes.
    • Support the development of high value partnership and sales opportunities through the creation of sales presentations, client experience demos and the structuring of deal terms.
    • Develop and maintain a sales pipeline of new revenue and upsell opportunities.
    • Provide regular reports on partnership performance to club leadership.
    • Ensure fulfillment of sponsorship contracts while identifying creative solutions to maximize the value of the account.
    • Work with other departments on sponsored programs; including game presentation, community relations, ticketing and others as necessary.
    •  Create and present prospective sponsorship proposals for clients.
    • Foster existing corporate partner relationships to ensure retention and growth.
    • Network and attend appropriate business functions.
    • Build positive long-term relationships with key decision makers.
    • Maintain a positive attitude and adapt to a fast-paced working environment with a strong attention to detail.
    • Provide accurate and reliable reporting information to be used in forecasting and management updates.
    • Being present, punctual and engaged during all scheduled departmental meetings
    • Assist with departmental game-day activities, specifically related to client entertainment.
    • Attend and work community relations events within the market as well as FireWolves scheduled events.
