HIANA THOMPSON SELECTED TO HAUDENOSAUNEE MEN’S NATIONAL TEAM

Team to Compete in the 2023 World Lacrosse Men’s Championship in San Diego

OSHAWA, NY – The Oshawa FireWolves of the National Lacrosse League (NLL), today announce that forward Hiana Thompson has been selected to the Haudenosaunee Men’s National team.  Oshawa congratulates Thompson and all the players selected to the team for the achievement.  The team announced their entire roster on their Instagram page yesterday afternoon.

“It’s always an honor to play and represent the Haudenosaunee Nationals at the world stage,” said Thompson.  “Putting on that jersey means so much to me and I’m excited for this opportunity!”

Thirty nations will head to San Diego for the 2023 World Lacrosse Men’s Championship from June 21 – July 1.  The United States will be returning as the defending champions.  The Haudenosaunee Nationals Lacrosse Organization is an indigenous sports organization that is the only one of its kind and competes on the world stage.
