Darryl Gibson

Assistant Coach
Darryl Gibson

Coach Darryl Gibson began his NLL career in Albany, NY as a member of the expansion team Albany Attack. Gibson spent two seasons with the Attack before joining the Toronto Rock in 2002, playing alongside Coach Clark for three seasons. In his first season with the Rock, Gibson returned to Albany where he led his team to a championship over the Attack, 13-12. Gibson scored the game-tying and game-winning goals of that game, both of which were assisted by Coach Clark.

After three seasons in Toronto, Gibson bounced around between a handful of other teams before retiring in 2012. Through 12 seasons, Gibson won two NLL Championships and was named to the 2006 All-Star team.

Following his successful career as a player, Gibson got his first experience on an NLL coaching staff as an intern with the Minnesota Swarm. After coaching in CLAX and Major Series Lacrosse, Gibson got the call from Coach Clark to join the New England Black Wolves as the team’s Offensive Coordinator.

Gibson is now entering his sixth season with Clark and his staff.
