  • Ticket Sales Internship

    Oshawa FireWolves Ticket Sales Internship (Fall 2025 | Spring 2026) 

    The Oshawa FireWolves, based out of Tribute Communities Centre in Oshawa, Ontario, are a proud member of the National Lacrosse League (NLL).     The Oshawa FireWolves are currently seeking motivated individuals for our 2025-26 Ticket Sales Internship Program. The ideal candidate for this internship will assist in the timely, accurate and thorough fulfillment and execution on a variety of ticket sale operations and group packages. This role will focus on all components of ticket sales and service to ensure the satisfaction of all FireWolves customers. Duties will require the Fan Development & Sales Intern to participate, as needed, in developing group and season ticket leads through researching, cold calling, managing timelines and deadlines. Candidates selected for a role within the organization will be given the opportunity to have a hand in multiple aspects of executing an Oshawa FireWolves home game and must be reliable for assisting the ticket sales team throughout the course of the season. 

    Job Responsibilities: 

    • Promoting and selling FireWolves group experience ticket packages
    • Ensuring the thorough execution of all ticketing packages on a game day
    • Organize unique ticket sales generating projects throughout season
    • Tracking sales, contacts and leads
    • Collaborate with multiple departments within the organization
    • Prospect and canvas local and national businesses/schools/organizations for group ticketing opportunities
    • Set up face-to-face meetings with prospective clientele
    • Assist the Ticket Sales Department in all areas including service, fulfillment and execution of special events, packages, and game day responsibilities
    • Attend all home games for the duration of their internship.
    • Make cold calls and deliveries from provided lists to customers
    • Ensure an exemptional level of customer satisfaction
    • Perform additional duties as assigned by the Oshawa FireWolves Front Office staff 

    Qualifications: 

    • Pursuing or recently completed a degree in Sports Management, Business, Marketing, or a related field 
    • A working knowledge of Microsoft applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) is a MUST
    • Must be available to work all Oshawa FireWolves home games throughout the season 
    • Willing to work weekdays and all home games (some evenings and weekends)
    • Strong verbal and written communication skills with a professional, team-oriented mindset 
    • Highly organized with the ability to manage time effectively and juggle multiple priorities 
    • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment 
    • A genuine passion for sports and an interest in learning the business side of the industry 
    • Prior experience in sales, customer service, or fan-facing roles is preferred but not required 
    • Some physical demands are involved, i.e. moving boxes, setting up tables, etc.

The ideal candidate for this internship is organized, creative, and capable of being adaptable among tight deadlines. A qualified candidate should be able to work independently and within a team, handle multiple projects at once, and achieve objectives set forth by their supervisor and themselves. Candidates selected for a role within the organization will be given the opportunity to have a hand in multiple aspects of executing an Oshawa FireWolves home game and must be reliable for developing social media campaigns, engaging content, and digital assets to be used throughout the course of the season. 

    Job Responsibilities: 

    • Support the planning and execution of social media campaigns across all platforms 
    • Develop and maintain weekly and monthly content calendars to align with brand initiatives 
    • Create, publish, and distribute engaging content tailored to each social media platform 
    • Monitor social media performance and engagement to help identify top-performing content, trends, and campaigns 
    • Conduct research and contribute to campaign strategy and content planning 
    • Assist in managing community engagement by responding to comments and direct messages 
    • Write compelling captions that align with the brand voice and resonate with followers 
    • Help shoot and edit short-form video content for various FireWolves social media channels 
    • Maintain consistency in messaging, tone, and visual branding across all channels 
    • Perform additional duties as assigned by the Oshawa FireWolves Front Office staff 

    Qualifications: 

    • Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, Digital Media, or a related field 
    • Must be available to work all Oshawa FireWolves home games throughout the season 
    • Strong written and verbal communication skills with a keen attention to detail 
    • Proficient in major social media platforms and content creation tools such as Canva and Adobe Creative Suite 
    • Previous experience in photography, video editing, and graphic design is strongly preferred 
    • Familiarity with social media analytics, reporting tools, and performance metrics 
    • Creative thinker with the ability to generate fresh, engaging content ideas 
    • Highly organized with strong time management skills 
    • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously 
    • Flexible schedule with availability on evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed 
    • Genuine passion for sports and a strong interest in digital and social media strategy

The ideal candidate for this internship is organized, self-motivated, customer oriented, and capable of being adaptable in a fast-paced environment. A qualified candidate should be able to work independently and within a team, handle multiple projects at once, and achieve objectives set forth by their supervisor and themselves. Candidates selected for a role within the organization will be given the opportunity to have a hand in multiple aspects of executing an Oshawa FireWolves home game and must be reliable for assisting the corporate partnerships team throughout the course of the season. 

    Job Responsibilities: 

    • Support outreach efforts to potential corporate partners through phone calls, emails, and in-person meetings 
    • Assist in preparing customized sales presentations, proposals, and partnership decks 
    • Provide research, insights, and recommendations to help evaluate prospective partners and sponsorship opportunities 
    • Contribute to the development of creative marketing strategies that promote partnerships and maximize brand visibility 
    • Assist in planning and executing game day activations and experiences tied to partnerships 
    • Help manage corporate hospitality areas and support on-site partner engagement to ensure a high-quality experience 
    • Maintain detailed records of partnership communications, assets, and fulfillment activities 
    • Assist in compiling recap reports and analyzing partnership performance, ROI, and fan engagement metrics 
    • Perform additional duties as assigned by the Oshawa FireWolves Front Office staff 

    Qualifications: 

    • Pursuing or recently completed a degree in Sports Management, Business, Marketing, or a related field 
    • Must be available to work all Oshawa FireWolves home games throughout the season 
    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present ideas clearly and collaborate across departments 
    • Self-motivated and proactive, with a positive attitude and a strong work ethic 
    • Strong verbal and written communication skills with a professional, team-oriented mindset 
    • Highly organized with the ability to manage time effectively and juggle multiple priorities 
    • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment

A qualified candidate should be able to work independently and within a team, handle multiple projects at once, and achieve objectives set forth by their supervisor and themselves. Candidates selected for a role within the organization will be given the opportunity to have a hand in multiple aspects of executing an Oshawa FireWolves home game and must be reliable for assisting the gameday production team throughout the course of the season. 

    Job Responsibilities: 

    • Support the planning and seamless execution of in-game promotions, fan engagement activities, and concourse activations 
    • Assist with crowd management and guest services to ensure a safe, welcoming, and enjoyable environment for all attendees 
    • Participate in the setup and teardown of game day materials, including signage, promotional items, and technical equipment 
    • Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to coordinate all game day operations 
    • Manage the logistics and smooth delivery of in-game promotions, fan contests, and interactive gameday experiences 
    • Oversee in-game entertainment elements and personnel, including national anthem performances, halftime acts, and special appearances 
    • Assist with the precise timing and execution of key game day elements such as music cues, player introductions, and sponsor activations 
    • Design and implement innovative in-game promotion concepts that drive fan engagement 

    Qualifications: 

    • Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Sports Management, Event Management, Marketing, or a closely related field 
    • Available to work all Oshawa FireWolves home games throughout the season, including evenings and weekends, with availability beginning up to five hours before game time 
    • Consistently present a professional image and demeanor, both in appearance and conduct 
    • Demonstrate a proactive, solution-oriented mindset with the ability to anticipate and address operational challenges 
    • Thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment while effectively managing multiple priorities and tasks simultaneously 
    • Flexible schedule and committed to working evenings, weekends, holidays, and playoff games as required 
    • Genuine passion for sports and a desire to gain hands-on experience in the sports industry 
    • Basic understanding of live event and sports production processes is a strong advantage

    Job Responsibilities: 

    • Support the planning, filming, and production of video content including player interviews, behind-the-scenes features, and promotional pieces 
    • Capture live footage from games and events for use in highlight reels and social content 
    • Edit video for multiple platforms, including social media, the team website, email marketing, and in-arena displays 
    • Produce dynamic highlight reels, game recaps, and short promotional videos 
    • Edit long-form content for features, mini-documentaries, and special projects 
    • Incorporate graphics, motion design, and special effects to enhance video storytelling 
    • Ensure all video content reflects the Oshawa FireWolves’ brand standards, tone, and quality 
    • Collaborate with the marketing team to develop creative video concepts and story boards 
    • Provide support during Oshawa FireWolves home games and community engagement events 
    • Perform additional duties as assigned by the Oshawa FireWolves Front Office staff 

    Qualifications: 

    • Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Film Production, Media Studies, Communications, or a related field 
    • Must be available to work all Oshawa FireWolves home games, including nights and weekends 
    • Proficient in industry-standard editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, and After Effects 
    • Experience with camera operation, lighting setups, and audio equipment in both studio and live settings 
    • Strong grasp of video production techniques, storytelling structure, and pacing 
    • Familiarity with creating content for various social media platforms  
    • Excellent communication skills and attention to detail in both creative and technical work 
    • Highly organized, self-motivated, and capable of working both independently and within a collaborative team environment 
    • Genuine passion for sports and an eagerness to contribute to a high-energy professional sports environment

    The Oshawa FireWolves are currently seeking motivated individuals for our 2025-26 Public Relations and Communications Internship Program. The ideal candidate for this internship is organized, creative, and capable of being adaptable among tight deadlines. A qualified candidate should be able to work independently and within a team, handle multiple projects at once, and achieve objectives set forth by their supervisor and themselves. Candidates selected for a role within the organization will be given the opportunity to have a hand in multiple aspects of executing an Oshawa FireWolves home game and must be reliable for developing motion graphics, videos, and other media assets to be used throughout the FireWolves season.

    Job Responsibilities:

    • Work with the FireWolves Communications department to assist in various game-night responsibilities and tasks
    • Assist with the creation of press releases, media alerts, game notes, pregame matchup previews, postgame recaps, and other press related material
    • Promote the team in any way possible in the local community while working closely with the sales department to push team initiatives.
    • Assist in scheduling news appearances for players, coaches and staff members on radio, television, newspapers, web blogs, and podcasts
    • Write and update bios for players/coaches throughout the season as transactions are made
    • Set up the press box and post-game media room for game days and capture audio from post-game interviews
    • Serve as an additional contact between the team/front office and the league, opposing team lacrosse operations
    • Other duties as assigned by the Director of Communications, Media, & Content Production

    Qualifications:

    • Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Communications, Journalism, Public Relations, or a related field
    • Must be available to work all Oshawa FireWolves home games throughout the season
    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
    • Strong verbal and written communication skills with a professional, team-oriented mindset
    • Highly organized with the ability to manage time effectively and juggle multiple priorities
    • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office programs and Adobe Photoshop
    • Basic knowledge of WordPress is a plus
    • Familiarity with lacrosse and the flow of the game
    • Flexible and able to adapt in high-pressure situations
    • A positive attitude and a willingness to actively engage and interact with players, coaches, and other media personnel
    • Passion for sports and a desire to learn about the sports industry

Candidates selected for a role within the organization will be given the opportunity to have a hand in multiple aspects of building the Oshawa FireWolves brand and must be reliable for assisting the marketing team throughout the course of the season. 

    Job Responsibilities: 

    • Assist with brainstorming creative ideas for promotional videos and marketing campaigns 
    • Help plan and coordinate marketing efforts related to community events, ticket sales, in-game activities, and general brand promotion 
    • Support the development and distribution of marketing materials to local businesses, event locations, and key spots in the community 
    • Conduct research to help identify local trends, interests, and promotional opportunities 
    • Help organize and track marketing inventory, printed materials, and promotional supplies 
    • Participate in grassroots marketing efforts such as flyer drops, street team activations, and in-game giveaway distribution 
    • Document and report on the impact of in-person marketing efforts by gathering feedback and photos of displays or activations 
    • Assist with sponsorship fulfillment by assembling and delivering signage, banners, and materials for partner activations 
    • Prepare and organize event supplies, including banners, flyers, handouts, giveaways, etc. 
    • Perform additional duties as assigned by the Oshawa FireWolves Front Office staff 

    Qualifications: 

    • Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Sports Management, Marketing, Communications, or a related field 
    • Must be available to work all Oshawa FireWolves home games throughout the season 
    • Present yourself in a professional manner in both appearance and behavior  
    • Have a positive attitude and be proactive in identifying operational challenges 
    • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously
