FIREWOLVES HOME OPENER SET FOR FRIDAY, NOVEMBER 27 AGAINST THE SASKATCHEWAN RUSH

OSHAWA, ON – The Oshawa FireWolves of the National Lacrosse League (NLL) today announced they will play their 2026-2027 Home Opener on Friday, November 27 at 7:30 pm ET against the Saskatchewan Rush at the Tribute Communities Centre.

“The Home Opener will be an amazing opportunity to test ourselves against one of the league’s best teams,” said Glenn Clark, General Manager and Head Coach of the Oshawa FireWolves. “We were not happy with our season last year. We’ve made positive roster moves and expect to challenge for a championship.”

The FireWolves will begin their second season in Oshawa with a revenge game against the Rush who defeated them 15-10 last year on the road. Oshawa returns star players like forward Alex Simmons, goalie Doug Jamieson, defenceman Kyle Rubisch, and forward Tye Kurtz while also adding new players like forward Jeff Teat and defenceman Holden Garlent who will be key players on the FireWolves push for the playoffs.

All fans in attendance will receive an LED rally towel to celebrate the start of another exciting season of Oshawa FireWolves lacrosse.

The full 2026-2027 FireWolves season schedule will be released on Tuesday, September 22 at 12 pm ET.
