OSHAWA, ON – The Oshawa FireWolves have quickly become the place to be on a Friday or Saturday night bringing the community together for an explosive experience.
From the first faceoff to the final buzzer, the energy inside the Den is electric, whether you’re new to the sport or a longtime fan it’s an experience you won’t forget. “I think the FireWolves are really awesome. Lacrosse is one of my favorite sports to be watching and like just let’s go FireWolves,” one young fan said.
That experience goes far beyond a single game, with lots of action throughout the season. “It was a great opportunity to see more lacrosse and I like that there were going to be three teams in Ontario,” said season ticket holder Esther, adding, “I knew right away that I wanted to be a season ticket holder. I love lacrosse. I didn’t want to miss a game. So, it was a pretty easy decision.”
Whether you’re looking for a good game or place to come together with old friends the FireWolves have you covered.
“I mean, it’s fun to look forward to the games, but it’s also fun to look forward to seeing your friends, you know, a couple of times a month and be able to get together,” Esther said.

That community extends far beyond the Den with pop-up events, school visits, and local partnerships the team continues to support the community as they support them.
“The interaction with the community has been great supporting the team and the team supporting the community,” said season ticket holder Joanne, adding “just the different businesses, and just meeting the different people around.”
That connection leads right back to the Den, where the energy from the community helps to fuel the FireWolves on the floor.
“If Oshawa can keep continuing to show up like this, it really does help,” said forward Alex Simmons. “It really gives us a great vibe going into those third and fourth quarters, and it’s nice to have them on our side. So, when we’re gathering momentum, they’re a part of it.”
With only a few home games left, there’s still time to be a part of the action. So don’t miss out and join the FireWolves Saturday, April 11 for Wrestling Night as the Oshawa FireWolves take on the Calgary Roughnecks at 7:00 PM.
