TEDDY BEAR TOSS 101

OSHAWA, ON – The Oshawa FireWolves return to the Tribute Communities Centre tomorrow on Friday, December 19 at 7:30 PM for Teddy Bear Toss Night against the Vancouver Warriors! Adding to the excitement the FireWolves are thrilled to be hosting Teddy Bear Toss Night to spread holiday spirit to children in need all over the Durham Region.

After the FireWolves score their first goal of the Second Quarter fans are encouraged to throw their teddy bears onto the turf to be donated to Lakeridge Health Hospitals to give gifts to kids who may otherwise go without one during the holiday season.

Please take a look at Teddy Bear Toss 101 ahead of tomorrow’s game:

• Fans can bring Teddy Bears and stuffed animals of all sizes
• Fans must wait to throw their bears until the FireWolves score their first goal of the Second Quarter
• Until then, hold onto those bears!
• Fans located behind the nets are encouraged to move toward the center of the stands to throw their bears on to the field or throw them them in the direction of the field
• If a bear lands near you before reaching the field, please help the bear reach its destination to the turf!
• All teddy bears and stuffed animals will be donated to Lakeridge Health Hospitals in the Durham Region
