FIREWOLVES SELECT JUSTIN LEE AND ANDREW BOWMAN IN 2026 NLL ENTRY DRAFT

OSHAWA, ON – The Oshawa FireWolves selected Justin Lee with the 19th overall pick and Andrew Bowman with the 33rd overall pick in the 2026 National Lacrosse League (NLL) Entry Draft presented by Capelli Sport that took place last night.

Justin Lee
Round 2 – Pick 19
Oakville MSL/University at Albany

Lee is from Mississauga, ON and was a standout righty forward for the Mimico Mountaineers in Ontario Junior A Lacrosse and as a Long Stick Midfielder for UAlbany. In 84 career games for Mimico in the regular season and playoffs, Lee produced 280 points on 117 goals and 165 assists and helped lead them to the 2024 Ontario Finals. At UAlbany, he was a multi tooled threat as he put up 7 points (4g, 3a), caused 18 turnovers, and picked up 68 ground balls in his four year career. The 6′ 5″ forward most recently found success with the Oakville Rock of Major Series Lacrosse where he had 35 points (17g, 18a) this past summer alongside current FireWolves forward Alex Simmons. Lee will compete right away for spot in the FireWolves offence with his size and skill set.

“Justin is a big body and incredibly versatile,” said Glenn Clark, General Manager and Head Coach of the FireWolves. “We like his size, IQ and ability to play at both ends of the floor.”

Andrew Bowman 
Round 3 – Pick 33
Nanaimo WLA/Marquette University

Bowman is from Nanaimo, BC and has been one of the top scorers in BC Junior A lacrosse and most recently in the Western Lacrosse Association while also having a successful collegiate career at Marquette. For Nanaimo BCJALL, he accumulated 307 points on 142 goals and 165 assists in 91 career games in the regular season and playoffs. At Marquette University, he produced 46 points (29g, 17a) in his four year career. Most recently he made the jump to Senior  lacrosse with the Nanaimo Timberman in the WLA this past summer and impressed as the team’s second leading scorer with 61 points on 28 goals and 33 assists. The lefty forward will bring his scoring touch to the FireWolves offence this season.

“Andrew is a gifted offensive talent,” said Clark. “He competes hard and will push for a roster spot at our camp.”

Congratulations to the newest members of the Oshawa FireWolves. Training Camp is set to begin at the end of October where these players will join the big group of new additions and returners who will compete for a spot on the FireWolves final roster.
